Welcome to Fin-A-Billy

Rockabilly, the hybrid of blues and
country, is the purest of all rock'n'roll genres.
July, 1954 the release of Elvis' first record on the Sam
Phillips' tiny Sun label was where it all began.
"That's All Right Mama" was a perfect mixture
of country and the raunchiness and sex of rhythm and blues.
In truth, rockabilly never really died.
Like the blues, it went underground after the Beatles
mainstreamed into rock'n'roll,
but it never really went away. Its influence will
continue to be felt.
For some rockabilly becomes a lifestyle,
for others it is just the best time you are ever going to
have with your clothes on.
